Our Program
Our quality professional Providers are available around the clock, all year round offering flexible hours, full time or part time care to fit your schedule. They are conveniently located all across the Whitby and Oshawa West areas to minimize travelling time for you and your child. We also have a backup system in place for days when a Provider is unavailable due to illness or holidays, so you can rest at ease and not disrupt your work schedule.
Our rates vary based on the child’s age, the hours needed per day and number of days per week. Since each home has only a limited number of children (maximum of 5), the children receive more individual attention and less chance of illness. Parents receive Tax receipts at the end of each calendar year to get a refund on a portion of their day care costs.
All of our Providers have access to our exclusive educational “Wee Learn” and “Together Wee Can” programs which ensure quality programming through various fun and interesting activities. Through our “Together Wee Can” program, Providers are supplied with different monthly activities which are carefully chosen by our Home Office to promote skill development in the children and also teach them about family and community involvement.
Our Providers
To meet the licensing requirements set and monitored by the Ministry, each Provider is first screened with an in-home interview, followed by the Wee Watch Situational Survey, personal and business references, criminal reference checks, Children’s Aid checks on everyone in the home 18 years and older, a site safety check, a fire evacuation plan and a medical/immunization record on each family member including pets. All providers have mandatory First Aid and CPR training which is updated every 2 years. They also participate in workshops, training programs and conferences all year round to further enhance their skills.
Our Satff
Our team of highly skilled and experienced, government approved Registered Early Childhood Educators (R.E.C.E) perform unscheduled, monthly visits to the Provider’s homes to ensure ongoing child safety and development, with a written report sent to parents after each visit. Along with providing resources and support to both parents and providers, they also offer mediation to make you feel comfortable with your Provider.
