About Us
Since 1984, Wee Watch has proved to be an exceptional Canadian organization. We strictly comply with and exceed provincial licensing regulations in accordance with the Day Nurseries Act. Wee Watch’ s high standards include careful screening of Providers and their families. Providers have been carefully screened for their child care skills and their ability to provide children with a warm, safe and stimulating environment. Each Provider completes a detailed interview, home assessment, physical checkup and personal and criminal reference checks prior to children starting. Providers must also complete First Aid training as well as continually upgrade their skills.
Wee Watch offers full and part-time care for children six weeks to twelve years of age. For more information regarding hours and fees, please contact us directly at 705-722-5989 or fill out our contact form. The partnership between Wee Watch, parents and Providers enhance the quality of care each child receives. Open communication is vital to ensure that the program in the home is designed to meet the individual needs of your child at every stage of their development. Wee Watch monitors the home with unscheduled visits by government approved Early Childhood Educators. These Home Visitors will check the Provider’s home for safety and ensure all standards are maintained.
As a parent, you have the comfort of knowing Wee Watch uses many resources to keep you informed of the program in the home as well as providing a wide range of services to you. Some of these services include a written home visit report, back-up service for days your Provider needs off due to illness or holidays; on-going workshops and training programs for yourself and your Provider; tax receipts and more.

Some of our usual visits are Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day Tea / Spring, Halloween Parades and of course the Holiday Season in December. Parents are always welcome on any outings!
We have an amazing group of Providers and we are excited for you to meet them!
Together Wee Can
Exclusive to Wee Watch is the Together Wee Can program which unites Providers and children in shared monthly activities. Every month Providers participate in activities that are promoted and provided by our Home Office. One of our favourite things to do as part of the program is to visit a local Senior’s Residence. The children and the residents have a great time together. We do story time and crafts and have a snack with the Seniors. Smiles all around every time. It warms the heart.
